The Theory and Practice of Creative Approaches in Developing Students’ Professional Competencies

In the context of rapid globalization and the growing demand for highly qualified specialists, higher education institutions face the challenge of improving students’ educational effectiveness. One of the key factors contributing to this goal is the development of critical and creative thinking skills. This article examines the theoretical foundations of critical and creative thinking, analyzes their role in enhancing learning effectiveness, and explores pedagogical methods aimed at fostering these competencies among students. The study employs qualitative analysis of scientific literature and pedagogical practices. The findings indicate that integrating critical and creative thinking strategies into the educational process significantly improves students’ cognitive engagement, problem-solving abilities, and academic performance.
