This article is devoted to the study of urgent issues in translating Persian poetry into Uzbek. The article analyzes the main challenges arising in the process of poetic translation, including issues related to classical meter and contemporary meter. The study is of scientific and practical significance for translators and literary scholars, contributing to the improvement of quality and harmony between form and content in poetic translation.
