Abstract

This article analyzes the translation of Japanese writer Yasushi Inoue’s works into Uzbek, including the challenges of the translation process, the reflection of national and cultural elements, and translation strategies. It examines the adequate rendering of historical, Buddhist, and samurai terminology used in the works. The artistic interpretation and stylistic features of the Uzbek translation are scientifically assessed.
