This study is devoted to the analysis of the linguistic and linguocultural features of lacunar emonyms in a comparative perspective of the Persian, Uzbek, and English languages. The research examines the phenomenon of lacunarity in the linguistic representation of emotional states and sensory experiences in close connection with national and cultural cognition, value systems, and emotional conceptualization. Based on a comparative analysis of emonyms in Persian, Uzbek, and English, cases lacking full semantic equivalents are identified and interpreted as semantic gaps. The findings demonstrate that lacunar emonyms in each language are characterized by distinct emotional, cognitive, and cultural motivations, and emphasize the importance of contextual and pragmatic strategies in achieving adequate representation of these units in translation.
