This article examines the translation activity of Sharif Rizo, who lived and worked during the 1920s–1940s of the twentieth century. It considers key facts of his biography and carries out a comparative analysis of selected aspects of his translations with the original works, allowing the distinctive features of his craftsmanship to be identified.
