Abstract

This article presents an analysis of the tonality (positive, negative, and neutral) of materials about women in Uzbekistan’s leading online media outlets. The main objective of the study is to identify how the image of women is constructed in media texts using a discursive approach and to demonstrate how gender stereotypes are shaped at the headline level. The article employs content analysis and linguistic discourse analysis methods.
