The article examines the reasons for the productive use of pejorative forms of address containing the component “개 (dog)” in Korean and Uzbek languages. Furthermore, it highlights the ways in which Korean address forms involving the lexeme “개 (dog)” are expressed in Uzbek and discusses methods for their accurate translation.
