This article offers a comprehensive analysis of the linguopoetic features found in the poetry of the great Chinese poet Li Bo (李白; 701 — 763). It meticulously examines the artistic functions of phonetic-phonological (e.g., alliteration, assonance, rhyme), lexical-semantic (e.g., vivid imagery, metaphors, hyperboles), and syntactic (e.g., parallelism, ellipsis) devices employed in his verses. Drawing on specific examples, the study substantiates the aesthetic potential of language and its pivotal role in poetry through rigorous linguistic and poetic analytical methods.
