Abstract

This article examines the issues related to translating the term “talab,” widely used in Jalal al-Din Rumi’s Masnavi-ye Ma’navi, into the Uzbek language. In Sufi literature, the term conveys not only its lexical meaning but also spiritual, mystical, emotional, and me­taphy­si­cal dimensions.
