Abstract

The article analyzes the historical development of Uzbek translation and its significance in literature, science, and culture. The translation process is examined from ancient religious texts, through the scientific and literary translations of the Jadid period, the ideologically influenced translations of the Soviet era, to contemporary translations carried out in the context of globalization.
